The Court of Appeal sitting in Port Harcourt this afternoon nullified the election of Governor Timipre Sylva and orders the immediate swearing in of the Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly. INEC should organize a fresh election within 90 days says the Court of Appeal.
At the filing of this report, the Court of Appeal is still reading the lengthy judgment.

Dear Sirs,
It is nonsensical to suggest that the PDP or indeed the VP is running out of luck. In my view, what is happening is no more than a technical hitch as far as the PDP is concerned.
I should continue to surmise that the process of reforming the PDP or indeed any other political party in Nigeria ought to continue unabated and the ethos of these parties should reflect the general aspiration of Nigerians. I hope I still very much retain my non-partisan politics.
I think it is nonsensical to submit that the vice president is running out of luck.
It is obvious that with the same mercenaries of government that was used to favor the ruling PDP in the last election still in place, the result is as good as announced in their favor. so I think it is just a ploy to buy more time to cover the can of worms that will definitely be exposed at the exit of each PDP government.
DON’T WANT TO SAY THAT THE JUDICIARY IS ALMOST DANCING TO THE MAMBO MUSIC OF THE PDP.
