Bombed Out Of House!

Bombastic earthquake grammar spitting member of Nigerian House of Representatives Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon was on Tuesday April 22 silenced by the Edo Election Tribunal. The Tribunal held that INEC erred in announcing Obahiagbon of the PDP winner of the Oredo Federal Constituency that the duly elected winner is the petitioner, Mr. Bello Osagie of Action Congress who polled legitimately 3,940 votes against Obahiagbon’s 2,282 votes contrary to the 64,032 votes awarded him by INEC.

As is the stock in trade of winners of INEC bazzar, the Counsel to Obahiagbon said shortly after the ruling that his client will proceed with immediate alacrity to the court of appeal to challenge this obnoxious anti populace inconsequential ruling.

The House will miss his comic interlude and Nigerians can now understand in simple language what the members are contributing to.

Commissioner Found Dead

The Edo State Commissioner of Information and Orientation, Barrister Calus Enoma, who went missing at the heels of the Edo state Gubernatorial Tribunal judgment has been found dead in Palm Royal Hotel Ugbowo Benin.

While the search lasted, the PDP led government, speaking through the Special Assistance on communication to Governor Osunbor, Mr. Tony Ikpasaja, fingered Adams Oshiomole of the Action Congress, demanding that the duo produce the missing commissioner within 48 hours or face dire consequences.

Edo State chapter of the AC debunked this accusation and blamed the PDP of attempting to create confusion in the State and prolong their inevitable evacuation from the Government House.  The Election Tribunal in Edo had on 20^th March entered judgment in favour of Adams Oshiomole and ordered his immediate swearing in ceremony. PDP has gone on appeal.

Adams Oshiomhole wins at Edo Tribunal

Commrade Adams Oshiomhole formal President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and the Governorship candidate of the Action Congress (AC) in the last April 2007 Governorship Elections in Edo State has won at the Election Petitions tribunal sitting in Benin, the Edo State capital.

The tribunal returns Adams Oshiomhole as the duly elected governor of Edo State,and orders Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to issue him with immediate effect Certificate of Returns as the winner of the election thus ending the reign of Governor, Osarhiemen Osunbor of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who has been on the saddle since May, 2007.

Another triumph for democracy, rule of law and a re-sounding reward for someone that have stood on the side of the people all his life.
