Prince Vincent Ogbulafor a consensus candidate has emerged as the New Chairman of the PDP.
Characteristic of the PDP no single vote was cast. This brings to the core once again, party democracy and its practice by the PDP.
As the Special convention proceeds we will bring you more information.

The PDP strikes again…
Infact looking at the outcome of the special Convention of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP)which was held on Saturday, one cant help but be thankful to GOD that at least the party and indeed Nigeria is gradually leaving the era of “BABACRACY” to an era where the people can resist the choice of one man and do what they want.
Sam Egwu would have infact been foisted on the party cum Nigerians again and who knows had that happened,Obasanjo could wake up anyday and fall out with him and push him away and then begin to shop for another Chairmanship Candidate.
My Brother Sam Egwu should return quietly to Ebonyi state. He is already a Governor Emeritus and indeed a statesman.
Had he become the Chairman of PDP,chances are that he would have become another Barnabas Gemade, who was foisted on the party and later pushed away;Or worse still another Audu Ogbeh who was foisted on the party and was shown the way out with brute force after Obasanjo has a delicious meal in his house.
Go home Sam Egwu! Vincent Ogbulafor is your brother,he will do well.
congratulation my brother for a man who washes his hand well, will definitly dine with kings.look nigerians; dede EZE has ruled his late father great poligamous family well and will no doubt be a blessing to YOU;i am from equatorial guinea and it is high time that others are given a chance because leadership is nobodys birthright for it is time to shift from colonial british system of anarchy.the future is not up yet to see;WHAT THAT WILL BE WILL BE.

whatever might have being the concomitant import of Ogbulafor,s emergent. I refused to buy the idea that democracy has finally prevailed within the PDP. For God sake, Obasanjo is still the BoT chairman, the consensus arrangement is an allusion of the old PDP. How about the old fox theory? which was graphically painted in the Sun neewspaper of Sunday? Has Ogbulafor comes out to give us a new version? The public are just being manipulated. PDP is inseparable from BABACRACY, because it is a nest that fed and feather every known criminals. To me, democracy has just being murdered. We should await the funeral…
As we await the funneral, many groups within the PDP have been claiming victory while others are denying their involvement in the rape.
Ogbulafor and his co-travellers will have to convince all and prove to them that ‘Democratic’ in PDP remains what it is; at least in their conduct as party officials.
As per BABACRACY, I do not want to join issues with that; doing so will indirectly acknowledge its existence.

REFORMATION OF NIGERIAN MERCHANT NAVY SEAFARER AND EMERGING NATIONAL SECURITY CHALLENGES IN THE 21ST CENTURY (THE SOLUTION TO NIGER DELTA CRISIS AND NIGERIA AT LARGE)
The Nigerian Merchant Navy Seafarers (Maritime, petroleum security and safety corps) has been takings as responsibility to secure maritime, petroleum organization and contribute to the maintenance of external and external aggression. It further implies that the Nigerian Merchant Navy Corps (NMN) would assist the government to uphold its authority and protect national economic resources
Brief History Of Nigerian Merchant Navy (NMN )And Nigeria Navy (NN)
In Nigeria, the navy was created in 1958 from the defunct Nigerian Marine Department originally formed in 1914 after the merger of the northern and southern Nigerian marine detachment (merchant navy).the northern and southern marine detachment originated from the British mercantile marine- the armed merchant ships of British shipping and trading companies of the nineteenth century, which in collaboration with royal navy, help to colonize Nigeria. In 1922 king George v changed the name of the British Merchant service to Merchant Navy in recognition of its role in World War 1.
Nigeria Navy was formed because of the attack the merchant navy face on the high sea and due bad experience facing Nigeria Merchant Navy at the sea called SEA LOBBER because Merchant Navy are not armed, equipped and trained as Nigeria Navy to face the attack. The British Government now carved out Nigeria navy from Nigerian Merchant navy to be trained as a sea soldier in 1956 eleven small boat and harbour craft and about 200 officers and men were transferred from the then defunct (Nigerian Merchant Navy) to become independent naval defence force.
In 1958 the British parliament formally reconstituted the colony Small Naval Defence force as the royal Nigeria Navy.
The term royal was dropped when Nigeria became a Republic and negligence of Nigerian Merchant Navy ,Nigeria navy took over all their duty which made them useless and jobless . Now they are clamoring for independent to be set free by national assembly in which it will provide thousand of jobs for unemployed youth in Nigeria .
It is hard to believe that that Nigerian merchant navy gave birth to Nigeria navy it is only know by few people in Nigeria even history and records will tells and if Ghana ,United State of America, Canada, South Africa, Australia, Venezuela (caracas), Chile, Denmark, Mexico, united kingdom e.t.c Nigeria should not be left out . .
WHO IS A MERCHANT NAVY ?
A country commercial ships and people who work on them, who were trained to serve on land or sea. A nations merchant fleet comprise the ship that is used to transport cargo during times of peace and war.
.
Ship transport is used for a variety of unpackaged raw materials ranging from chemical, petroleum product and bulk cargo such as coal ,iron-ore, cereal, bauxite and others.
It is therefore unfortunate, that because of greed for accumulating of wealth from the merchant Navy Auxilliary, Nigerian Merchant Navy left partly of their duties on-done after the establishment of the Nigeria Navy (NN) in 1956 and flee to sea, which is their LIFE and HERITAGE, leaving the marine policing duties undone, which created a lot of sea security lapses for instance, if there was separation of power checks and balances between the Nigerian Merchant NAVY(NMN) and Armies of the naval profession each formation would seat up with is assigned duties properly.
AIMS, GOAL AND OBJECTIVES OF NIGERIAN MERCHANT NAVY CORPS. However, the above security challenges can be overcome if some of these preventive strategies are put in place. TRAINING OF NIGERIA MARCHANT NAVY FOR WAR
According to RUDYARD KIPLING: Maritime nations the world recognized the vital role, the merchant marine plays in the
Maritime strategy in peace and in war. Merchant ship are regards as the “FOURTH ARMS” of defenses ( after ARMY,NAVY AND AIR-FORCE), force multiplier or the centre -piece of logistic train for any war at sea. A merchant ship stands as good chance as a warship of being hit by a missile, a mine or torpedo. Proper naval training becomes essential for merchant men to imbibe them courage, spirit of heroism, deep sense of patriotism and national honor.
Different nation follow different patterns in the training of Navies. This training philosophy is a sound one in view of what has been said about the roles of merchant ships in war. It is the ways to groom and would seat up with is assigned duties properly pattern in the training of men of their merchant navies. Military training for merchant naval men removes any clumsiness or lack of proper orientation they might suffer in the course of their participation in war at sea. Merchant Navy of yesterday are coward, not trained, unskilled which makes sea piracy hold them to ransomed and Kidnapping of oil workers, it is high time for the presidency and national assembly to empower NIGERIAN MERCHANT NAVY SEAFARERS (MARITIME, PETROLEUM SECURITY AND SAFETY CORPS) for the sustainable of maritime, petroleum environment in NIGERIA.
Many things still needed to put in place in Maritime Sectors as the nation’s economic life and coming together of Maritime stake holder to support the laudable project but Nigerian Merchant Navy Corps (Maritime& petroleum security and safety corps) to put the mistakes in order with the help and support of
(INTERNATIONAL MARITIME ORGANISATION ) I.M.O , INTERNATIONAL SHIPS AND PORTS FACILITIES SECURITY (ISPS) and INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT WORKERS FEDERATION (I.T.W.F)
