The progressive people of the almost lost Republic of Nigeria do have cause do be happy once again; beloved Gov. Donald Duke yesterday declared his interest to the presidency yesterday. This is the long awaited declaration, finally Duke have decided to stand up and be counted.

As the buyers and sellers gather for the election 2007 “trade”, let all the people be mindful that it will not be open to the highiest bidders; rather, let him who is most qualified be granted the honour to serve. In the days ahead as the traders begin to display their wares, the people of Nigeria should not be overwhelmed by the nuiances of crayfish sellers that have nothing to offer but deceit and empty promises. Let the people watch out and queue up behind the person that we can buy all our foodstuff from and will be guaranteed steady supply. Let the person also be of proven integrity and ready to present himself to be examined in the market square. Anyone that will pass, the examination and open trial in the square must be acceptable to all, that person therefore can be enthrusted with the presidency.
