Governor Ikedi Ohakim of Imo State Triumphs at the Tribunal

The Election petitions tribunal sitting in Owerri, Imo State have returned their verdict and they have ruled that Governor Ikedi Ohakim is the duly elected Governor of Imo State.
It will be recalled that the duo Ifeanyi Ararume of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Uche Onyeagocha of Action Congress (AC) went to the tribunal to challenge the election of Governor Ikedi Ohakim.
As we congratulate Governor Ohakim, we wish to encourage him to continue with the good works he has started in Imo State.

Beyond reasonable doubt? Sure even the dead in St Peters Irette’s cemetery knows their was no election. In as much as the majority wanted an Ohakim instead of a bye that will bring in PDP tsunami and hoist Ararume, we should see beyond the election tribunals. There are still infrastructural rot in Imo State.
The people of Imo have no mouth piece. Our one time pride Statetsman Newspaper is dead, IBC is not fit to be called a network.
Let us look beyond “mandate” and start asking for accountability. Through out the nation, energy has been wasted in the quest for authority and legitimization of fraud, while the people are dying for lack of drugs in the hospitals. water scarcity is a recouring decimal in Imo State. apart from donkey aged Owerri, there is no other city in the state. Orlu is like a farm settlement, Okigwe can’t even be found on MTN epileptic GSM service map.
Not prooven Beyond reasonable doubt is the mantra to legitimize electoral fraud thanks to the Presidential election tribunal.I make bold to say, as a result of this,most hanging electoral tribunal will rule in line.
I await the Supreme Court ruling on the 18 points ground of appeal of Mike Ahamba SAN councel to Buhari before i say who has the last laugh.

the appeal court has excel by giving a wonderful victory toTHE GOOD PEOPLE OF Edo state. Imo people is waiting patiently for SENETOR ARARAUME to be clared by the appeal court so that Imo people will be saved. umu africa is still waiting for there settlement. if not now, you must pay after government house.
I think and believed that Mr Governor has a vision and purpose for Imo people, only if he is giving the opportunity to do so. Being a Governor does not answer all the questions and problems in the state, we should support him to the best we can and also hold him accountable to the promises he made to the people of Imo state.

As a concerned Imo citizen and also as an aspirant, Imo is great and prosperous state in Nigeria. 20 months have gone and still no election date ( local government election ) and our current government is busy planning new face of Imo, version 2 for re-election. The Governor will win again if the election is conducted tomorrow, but we need the government to make an open annocement the date when the local election will be conducted. The court case should not be used as an excuse to continue the endless delay. God bless the Governor and God bless Imo people and long live Nigeria.

We should learn from what happened in the United States of America, the election was free and fair, results were transmitted immediately. The issue of godfathers be erased, let the people make their choice of who to rule them, leadership is visionary. I will like a situation were by all the aspirant be called out on a national or state televison to debate on why they want to be Councilor, Chairman, Governor and President.

Good day my Governor, I will use this medium to comment on your gaint strides and your great vision to make Imo State one of the best city in Nigeria. More kudos to your great vision and achievements in the state. It is of great importance to bring to your notice about the suffering of my people(Oforola, Owerri West L.G.A) This town have NO GOOD ROAD to access it, either from the east, west, south and north, and is located about 10km from the state captial. Please my adorable Governor, help my town on this issue before the rainy season. On the issue of Refinery and petrochemicals plant in Imo state, as a Civil Engineer in an Oil and Gas Industry any professional assitance is highly welcome to make this vision a reality. Out of sight as they said is not out of mind. East and West, South and North, there is no place like home. One can understand and appreciate the importance of home when he has travelled outside.
My good people of Imo-state, much needed to be done in our state by both the elected and electorate. But i think the elected get over 80% of the job that needed to be done in repositioning great Imo-state.

Once again remember we still do have epiletic electricity supply, water supply are yet to be extended and functioned to all corners of Imo state, our education industry need to be activated, hospitals, you can travel round imo stateand see by yourself, Unemployment rate, remember what was the growth rate before you took over and period you have stayed in office, Imo state need industries of world standard, Roads rainy season will tell us how well we do have good roads.
